The best beach around. Look for Casa de Piedra. There is a hotel with such name. Very good. Both.

I have visited many beaches in Mexico and, thus far, Playa Ventura is my favorite. It has a laid back, family vibe and the local residents and business owners are very friendly (in a natural way) and do not hassle or pressure the tourists. There are a number of beaches and it is worth it to visit each of them as they all have their own flavor. Playa Ventura is a hidden gem!

Cheap! 5 to 6 hour drive from Mexico City. No big resorts. Perfect place to sit down and just read, chill and beyond. I stayed at Las tortuguitas. You can put up your right in front of the sea
